Husky kennel
We have our own kennel in Sollia Gjestegård, with about 40 sled dogs of the type of Alaskan husky.
In addition to the "tourists tours," our guides also participate in competitions and has extensive experience with sled dogs. During 2010, completed our new dog kennel, where all the dogs run freely in separate cages during the day and sleep indoors at night.
Dog farm fits nicely to the display for day care, school and other institutions, and of course resident guests and others who want to stop by. Please contact for viewing and for info about dog sledding.
Other activities
In addition to organized activities, there are good opportunities for outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, skiing, snowshoeing, etc.
There is a marked trail / snowmobile trail from Sollia Gjestegård that can be used all year round. Going to the Russian border from Sollia Guest takes 5-10 minutes.
